For this project, we developed a comprehensive monolithic application for a food delivery service, featuring two dashboards—one for users and another for restaurant owners. This project was particularly expansive in terms of the technology stack utilized. We employed Next.js for both the front end and back end, integrated ShadcnUI and TailwindCSS for the UI design, and implemented Clerk for our authentication system.

We incorporated Google Maps for real-time tracking of both the delivery drivers and users, enhancing the functionality and user experience. The application was designed to be user-friendly and responsive, ensuring compatibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.

For project management, we used Git. Our collaborative efforts included the introduction of subscription plans and the integration of Stripe as our payment processing method. As part of our rigorous testing protocol, we used Jitesh Playwright to ensure the application performed well under various conditions and could handle multiple concurrent users.

We also incorporated Cloudflare technology to utilize the tunnel feature, allowing us to host the application from our native PCs during development. Throughout this project, we learned about CI/CD pipelines, which streamlined our development process, and we created a comprehensive user manual. Additionally, the application supports multiple languages, broadening its accessibility.

In the final stages, we deployed the application on Vercel, ensuring it was ready for real-world use and accessible to a broad audience.
