In April 2020, I launched Ashutoshyadav.org, a portfolio website aimed at showcasing my work and skills. This project marked a significant milestone in my journey as it provided me with an opportunity to delve deeply into SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and digital marketing. My goal was to create a website that would not only serve as a resume but also rank highly in search engine results, attracting potential employers and collaborators.

The website quickly gained traction, thanks to my efforts in creating thousands of backlinks. These backlinks helped improve the site's search engine ranking, leading to multiple active users visiting the site. I achieved a ranking of approximately 20,000 in India, which was a remarkable accomplishment considering it was my first serious attempt at SEO and digital marketing.

Despite the initial success, I soon realized that the website's content was limited. It was essentially a portfolio or resume site, and I didn't have enough substantial work to showcase. This limitation made it challenging to keep the website engaging and relevant. After some consideration, I decided to shut down the website as there were no plans for its future use.

However, this project was far from a failure. It provided me with invaluable knowledge about SEO, digital marketing, and website design. I learned how to optimize content for search engines, create effective backlinks, and use various digital marketing strategies to drive traffic to a website. Additionally, I honed my web development skills, creating the website from scratch and ensuring it was both functional and visually appealing.

Ashutoshyadav.org remains one of my best website designs, and the experience I gained from this project has been instrumental in my subsequent endeavors. It taught me the importance of content quality, user engagement, and the need for continuous improvement. The lessons learned from Ashutoshyadav.org have been applied to many of my future projects, helping me create more effective and successful websites.
