AppLock
AppLock was a smaller project I worked on alongside vFame. With the ban of multiple applications in India, including popular app locks, my dad and I decided to develop our own lock application. We purchased a script from Codecanyon and began customizing it to meet our needs.
Managing AppLock while simultaneously working on vFame was challenging. The workload was immense, and I was responsible for both the server management and the constant updates required for the App Store. The pressure from my dad to deliver timely updates and maintain the server's performance added to the stress. Despite the challenges, we successfully published the application, and it gained a modest user base.
However, the intense workload and lack of sleep took a toll on me. My dad's constant questioning about my studies led to several arguments, and I eventually decided to stop working on AppLock. This project, while smaller in scale, was an important part of my journey. It taught me about managing multiple projects simultaneously, the importance of time management, and the need for clear communication and realistic expectations in collaborative projects.
